Tens of thousands of New Hampshire customers are waking up without electricity Sunday morning after a storm moved across the Granite State on Saturday. The reported number of outages peaked at around 76,000 customers without power around 8 a.m. on Sunday.One of the hardest hit communities was Barnstead, where more than 2,800 customers between Eversource and New Hampshire Electric Co-Op were without power Sunday morning. Anyone who sees downed power lines should call 911. Assume they are still live wires and do not touch them or drive over them.Eversource said Sunday morning they have hundreds of crews on the system dealing with damage. They said more out-of-state crews on on the way to help.
